  1. Wow, that is one sweet ride. I didn’t even know that was a tool that measured paint thickness– shows that I am not a car guy, but I love this channel and love this show.

  2. Beautiful truck Dennis! I had the exact truck in 1988, New style, red, 350, 4 wheel drive, etc… But I like the square bodies best 👌

    1. @Time Traveler  Yes.. I had my 88′ for 31 years until the frame rusted through and broke in half. Sheet metal gone too.. but, still a good truck

  3. I used to work at Johnson Chevrolet. Sadly the dealership was sold to a conglomerate who has numerous dealerships in western Pennsylvania. This is a great piece of history

  4. I am not afraid to admit it, but ..Never heard of a V-10 until today. I learn so much from watching this channel.

  5. This 87 Chevy is gorgeous-looking, I’ve never been one for a red vehicle but on this truck as you would say is “Outstanding”!!!

  6. I had a 1987 Suburban 4×4 in the same color and think it was Henna Red. Didn’t come clear coated back then and the paint did not last BUT it could go alot of places. Nice pick-up.

  7. Nice truck, someone’s going to get a nice rig. Question: what brand paint thickness tool are you using? Maybe I’m wrong, but the tool appears to be magnetic?

  8. Beautiful truck . GM changed the K identification to the V identification in late 80s … Gm had so many parts leftover for theses trucks you could order one on up into the early 90s actually. Ive seen a few 90 an 91 square bodies .

  9. Roll out and wing windows rule, have a plastic bed liner on a 1990 250 4×4 and they are huge for saving dents and wear. Long beds are more useful for real use too. 👍

  10. Takes me breath away and brings back some amazing memories. I expect that truck to fetch 50 plus…
