DOUGSCORE CHART:
2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Full Review: Bronco on Steroids
The dealer markups for this will be insane
@Tee McShanney What do you think ?
@Tee McShanney lol bro, i was being sarcastic, w how absurd the markups these Ford dealers r getting away with
Right now, they can’t give them away.
There will be fools to pay 150k for it cause they canโt wait
Honestly, I miss the breakdown of each category in the Doug Score. It was interesting to see WHY Doug gave each score.
@Kevo Oh, very intended.
@bigvirgotube ok you win
Totally agree
I agree, he’s got a bit lazy unfortunately๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คจ
His scoring method is pretty flawed overall imo. No categories for economy and safety, as well as very subjective styling and value scores in particular. I find the same scoring system for old and new cars to be rather questionable too. Despite this, I still find Doug very entertaining and he’s my favourite car reviewer overall๐
I love seeing Doug get progressively sweatier while going through the interior
Cause it’s hot as hell! ๐
@Chip Skylark He is probably wiping his forehead on his shirt.
Lol sometimes it climbs past 125ยฐ here in the summer months haha
I believe he lives in the San Diego area where itโs MUCH more tolerable.
@Jose Brown also Hyundai with the Genesis line.
Ranger was also an F series trim level before it was it’s own Model.
@Peeps record temp is 110 in San Diego. It could’ve been in the 90s, which is very hot inside of an unventelated car with a black interior. Especially when you’re 6’5″ and a little chunky.
Even if you’re a Jeep or Toyota person, you have to admit we’re lucky to see manufacturers putting out awesome, fun impractical vehicles again. There’s no way a vehicle like this would have been released even 15 years ago.
@J M LOL
@BeamerBoy Sorry, so… What new information were you adding?
When did the FJ Cruiser first come out?
@Raj Brar because its for going off road not handling around corners, If you want that buy a mustang.
@Raj Brar and let me add to the fun. Raj, my other daily driver is a sports car (BMW F82 M4) so yeah, I have a car hobby for both offroading and onroad spirited fun. Both cars handle widely different in the same environment and therefore cannot be compared. If you use one the same way you would use the other in the environment it was designed for… well then one of the two would be trashed (BMW would rip its undercarriage off offroad and the Bronco would skid into a tree in any tight curve at speed). Maybe you get it now…
Ford hit it out of the park with the Bronco resurgence, its a money printing machine
Cries in Chevy blazer ๐คฃ
Would love to see you parking this in between two cars in a standard parking lot!
Owners won’t even try, they’ll just park across two spots and tell you to deal with it.
I do it with my dually lol
Iโve got a lifted 4WD as my โweekendโ car and itโs not that much harder to park than my wifeโs little crossover. If you see someone parked like an a-hole itโs them not the ride
@Tony Tiso same lvld fx4 on 35s still fit well inside the lines
I like Doug videos because he shows you the quirks and features of not only vehicles, but also American regulations.
I think heโs the one w the QUIRKS!
100% love the review model being compared to the full release model months apart, it gives us a view on what was considered and what really made the cut and was changed on release. Thank you Doug!
Doug, what is the most sweatiest car you’ve ever done a vehicle review in? I can’t imagine how sweaty it must get while filming, especially during the super humid days. Your t-shirt sleeves tell us the story of dedication, passion and the sacrifices you make for us making every video!
After 3 years of ownership and the standard 36k miles, both this and the 392 Jeep will hold their value better than most import cars at the same price point
Congratulations you have just been selected among my winner hit me up to claim your prize ๐๐
Can imagine this is gonna hold itโs value pretty well
Ford should put a screen on the inside of the tailgate that fills in the spot blocked by the tire and the brake light.
That’d probably cost way too much for what it’s worth.
Boss: “can we get the engine bay to look like spaghetti?” …..Engineers: “sure but they will have to be of various sizes.”….Boss: “PERFECT๐”
You know a company is confident when they’re upset you won’t offroad their vehicle.
I’m very surprised that they didn’t go with the rear-view mirror with the camera. This is a perfect candidate for that, and I cannot imagine it being that expensive considering the other OEMs that are using it.
Thanks for the information Doug, great review. Iโm betting the next Mustang GT well carry this engine.
Another stellar doug review. Thank you for taking the time to put these together. The hard work will pay off.
Thanks for watching, you have been randomly selected for a car giveaway DM for your prize๐.
One of the things I love about Ford is that they usually do think about just about everything their customers could want in their vehicles. They always deliver, and with the revived Bronco’s I’ve been pretty much nothing but impressed. Hope to own one some day, would prefer a Bronco over a F150!
I’d argue the flares of the bronco destroy it’s looks completely. Ford missed the mark not giving it more power than the 392 imo.
Doug gives so much attention to detail which even the designers has no idea of ๐
