    1. @German Engineering I remember when 1320video used to post those and then they stopped so I migrated to Auto Glory and Can I Be Frank lol

  1. To whom it may concern, whoever shoots and edits this footage…… NEED A RAISE! This type of quality is not your run of the mill

    1. Agreed.. Been saying that for months now.

Also, it’s great to see a decent size drag strip ๐Ÿ‘Œ.. would be great to see some 1/2 mile races in the future ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

  2. I’d like to thank Hagerty and Jason Cammisa for once again activating my monkey brain neurons in all the right ways.

    1. โ€‹@udaysaleenHow tf do you miss the comparison between the remaining two door, 6-speed competitors, on which most of the video time was spent?.
The muscle car comparison, though shown first, was an afterthought. The Camaro’s last year in production is 2024, and this year for the Challenger.

    2. The production values of Hagerty vids rare extraordinary, but then vanity channels like Petrolicious also show lots of pretty pictures of cars weโ€™d want to own. While in the end the Petrolicious vids are reverential and therefore boring, Camissa keeps you guessing all the way to the end.

The difference with Hagertyโ€™s vids is Jasonโ€™s non-reverential perspective. Sure,Henry Catchpole knows his stuff, but I always get the impression he is soft-pedaling his impressions, careful not to displease whoever supplied the car. Not so with Camissa. He calls them as he sees them. And he is 20 times more appealing as a character than nearly all the competition. Goes double for Schmee.

  3. The video quality is never disappointing when you have these showdowns and straight to the point. I am shocked how fast the m2 is, Iโ€™m guessing thereโ€™s a power limiter for it to get off the line controllably. I guess thatโ€™s the one I need.

  4. I loved the absolute DETAIL you went into explaining horsepower and power to weight traction differences and emphasizing itโ€™s importance when talking about the specs/numbers on each car and their strengths and drawbacks. And now youโ€™ve also made it increasingly hard to decide which one Iโ€™d want to buy. This video and editing was MENTAL! great video, Hagerty! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ

  5. I gasped when that Emira jumped off the line and had a car length on everyone. I gasped again when the BMW looked like it found an extra 100hp somewhere and gapped everyone. Great video, team!

    1. BMW always misrepresents its weight and horsepower figures (i.e., reporting lower than actual hp and higher than actual weight) so the hp/weight number is usually bogus — apparently they like all the publicity that an “over achiever” gets? There are several videos documenting that with scales and dyno on newer models. Also with a turbo and electronics all kinds of games can be played with horsepower v. rpms.

    2. โ€‹@Mandolin1944 Claimed HP ratings are a result of testing in the “worst case scenario”, to ensure buyers will have access to the rated power 99.99% of the time. Every manufacturer does this, but it seems like BMWs are especially able to squeeze out some extra juice if you feed em cold air and high octane. Very impressive ECU programming.

    3. Having had several BMWS I’m not surprised in the least.
However with these sports cars on the track it begs the question where is the Vette ????

  6. Wow the way he popped into frame while it slowed down during the race was so clean. Great editing, great video.

  7. Car reviewers have came a LONG WAY. Absolutely amazing editing! Your team is good at what they do and Iโ€™m going to subscribe for sure!

  8. This video needs to be marked in Favourites as one of the greatest tributes to the sound of the internal combustion engine ever produced. What a spine-tingling, symphonic experience.

  9. I dont mind waiting 3 months for a new video if need be for this channel because Camissa and his team never ever dissapoint!! Respect for it being a free channel!

  10. I love that Hagerty is an insurance company that actually cares for the things it insures and goes the extra mile to help the car community.

    1. the fact some 2GR-FE engines are being tuned upwards of 700… 800… 900… and some even knocking on a 1,000 horsepower is incredible in itself. It’s quite a potent engine, if I will be honest.

  11. Somebody give the editor a massive raise. This is one of the best drag races I’ve watched. Felt like I was watching a movie. Amazing video!!

  12. It’s almost impossible to go through a Hagerty video and not love absolutely everything about it.
Amazing work on the entire production – Storyline, script, facts and figures, editing, sound, humor – everything is just spot on and with the right consistency.
Nothing else seems to grab your attention like one of these videos.
Keep up the good work team!
