I’ve always loved these since I was a kid, never been in one though only was able to admire them
Trust me, they have great performance, but not a good investment long term. The cost to keep these running is ridiculous. These will be in a shop more than actual being driven.
Massive repair/ownership costs
Basically a money pit. Great performance, but nothing really special in real life.

Why are they shy to call it crossover?
Right, this thing in reality is far from a real SUV. More like another ugly and useless crossover. Yes, the performance is good, but that is the only thing it has going for itself.
@CB The macan is a crossover. The first gen cayenne was proper SUV. On road and off road performance were really ahead of its time. Only the 2003 to 2004 v8 suffered some issues but they were fixed in the later years. After all it is a better version of the first gen Q7 and Touareg in most terms.
This is not a real SUV. More like a high performance crossover because this thing has terrible off road talent. 😂
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. It had very complex offroad tech and it is well known for being one of the best offroaders
Back in the 90s, we car enthusiasts were SURE the Cayenne would ruin Porsche. Instead, it made Porsche better. The sales to well-off Suburban soccer moms gave Porsche lots and lots of cash for activities lol.

Twin Turbo cayenne has terrible depreciation – not as bad as a twin turbo SL but it’s getting there.
