Here Are the Holy Grail Cars We Want to Drive

Kennan and I sit down and discuss the cars and trucks we most wish to drive. We have chosen carefully, for while the true Grail will bring you life, the false Grail will take it from you. From split level vans with a V12 to the best ever made, we cover quite the range. Tell us in the remarks what you would live to drive and why!

  1. Who else agrees that having Kennan in these garage videos is better than having him in the reviews?
Doug, please keep the reviews solo.

    1. No, I don’t want anyone else besides Doug at all. I come here for Doug and it is HIS channel, I want to hear everything from his perspective.

    2. @Nathan Joseph I do agree with you. This is the reason why we all subscribed!
Regarding that kennan is “Doug’s friend” I thought it would be adequate to bring him in the garage talks rather than the reviews because he failed badly.

    3. No hard feelings for Kennan, but there’s nothing like Doug reviewing a car. Kennan is much better in the garage chats, I wouldn’t mind seeing the two car spotting either.

  2. Interesting to see Italdesign used a lot of cues from Columbus into later designing Cala, which then became the template for Gallardo.

  3. The Columbus… I remember reading everything I could find about this monster when it was being hyped. It was designed to be a shuttle for business executives. They could have meetings, power their laptops and had a space for a couple of secretaries. And yes, the chauffer had a center driving position to help because of it’s size.

  4. Doug is the type of guy that would sit 3 chocolate chip cookies on a napkin & place them on top of the passenger door of a Porsche Carrera GT. 🍪🍪🍪

  5. On the first videos, i wasnt really sure of the addition of Kenan, but in this, i think the enjoyment you two have is hard to miss – great Video, and looking for the Trackday one 🙂

  6. You guys should do a discussion on what cars you want to Import now and the future and/or foreign cars you want to drive.

  7. I nearly fell in love with the Cien concept thanks to Gran Turismo. I can’t remember if it was the second or third game, but once I unlocked it I rarely drove anything else

  8. I love that yall mentioned the Exelero. I think it’s one of the most interesting project cars ever existed. The car was commissioned by a tire company and there is actually some review videos of that car.

    1. I saw the Exelero at the Frankfurt Auto Show back in 2005. Sure was impressive. Not beautiful though

  9. I’m surprised no one mentioned the Mazda Furai concept. I loved that car to death, the most unique design with an NA Renesis rotary engine. I used to run that car in the 24h of Le Mans in GT5

  10. I’ve always loved the idea of having a car with a start sequence of flipping that switch, turning this knob, then a couple more switches, etc. I think that would be so cool, not to mention a decent theft deterrent!

  11. Just this week I was reminiscing about that W12! From around that same period of Top Gear, I think, I’ve always wanted to drive the Koenigsegg CCX. The magic for me was watching the Stig lose control of it, saying it needed some better aero. Then a few weeks later Koenigsegg sends the CCX back with, for the time especially, a hilariously small wing and the Stig set a lap record. I felt like that moment, and that car, are really what put the CCX (and Koenigsegg) into icon status to me.

    1. He’s definitely getting more comfortable, but I’d still prefer Doug only in the weekly reviews.

  12. I wonder why Doug never even mentions Ford GT90. My personal favourite and dream car of all time for sure. And definitely feels like a car that doug would go nuts about.

    1. Since I started watching Doug’s videos I dream of the day he reviews the GT90.
I believe there were 3 built, and some time ago one was sold…the dream is alive!

  13. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks guys! Very fun back and forth conversation. And for me, it’s fun to watch you both joke around and talk about cars.

  14. You two hit like every car on my dream car list. I always dreamed of having that GTI, Juke R, and the minivan

  15. So cool seeing Doug be himself outside of the reviewer persona he’s built over time. fun video!

  16. I’ve really been enjoying these garage collaboration videos, probably more so than your regular content. I feel the growing pains in some of the dual host reviews but I’m still really enjoying them too. I’ve noticed that the comments have been pretty strongly against the shift so i just wanted to add my feelings as a viewer who doesn’t feel negatively about the changes.
