  1. What a Dutch artist has done, in 1982, is “pre-damaging” a Renault 25. Wim T. Schippers (and his team) took hammers and carefully damaged the metal, everything still had to work, and then the car was sprayed. It looked like a wreck, still, that was only superficial, it was a NEW car.
    Then it was a taxi in Paris for a while, being a Renault that made sense. People hiring the taxi were informed, that this was a work of art. The idea is, most cars look worse and worse, during time. Why not do a lot of damage in advance? Then each new dent won’t be so bad!
