Uhhh, a swamp cooler? Also know as an evaporative cooler, these have existed in some form literally since the Ancient Egyptians. People have been making these igloo cooler diy versions for a very long time now.
Fun fact, there was a music festival maybe a decade ago where people were building these and filling them with dry ice. This works great, obviously because of the extremely low temperature of dry ice. This was until some dummies started bringing them into enclosed spaces like the sedans they were sleeping in. Dry ice is CO2 in it’s frozen state, so as the blocks of CO2 melted it filled the cabin up with carbon dioxide and a few people got a nice ride to the hospital.

No a swamp cooler is a better design it cools air by passing through damp pads that bring down air temps however this design relies on a pile of ice that will be water in no time 0and at that point it’s not cooling the air as it should now if they were smart they would blend the two designs or just add ice to a swamp cooler.
