@Greg Tennyson no that’s just because you didn’t connect the kill wire that when grounded dumps the coil. On the smaller 125cc style if you disconnect the key switch it will fire right up. All you gotta do is ground the black and white wire coming out of the cdi. But you probably already know all this, I learned it by messing with it untill it worked and a bunch of diagrams on Google that told me everything but what I wanted to know. Usually I hsveto go over 3 different diagrams to make sense of things.
@MrDerpBuilds that was back in my younger days. I have since figured out how to read wiring diagrams!
@Greg Tennyson I figures, my problem is I’m using some parts that are knockoffs or whatnot so the color code aren’t always the same and alot of the diagrams only tell me half of what I want to know. Some make sense but the cdi pins are different and. If I can fine one that tells me what the wire actually does it helps alot. A diagram. May show 4 wires going into a cdi for example but how do I know which of the 4 goes where and if neither of my parts have color codes matching my diagram. It gets confusing. Not to mention Google giving me every diagram but the one I need lol. I’m still young and learing
