Unfortunately you’re wrong. Mate Rimac, founder of Rimac, is Croatian. His name is pronounced like “mǎːte rǐːmats”. If you’ve seen any interview with Mate Rimac you’ll hear how they pronounce his name. So, she’s correct. I think you’d better be a bit more humble 🙂
John Force once did 1.73 when he stipped off his grimly-oil-soaked suite, sweaty-boots/socks, and dirt-gritty-underpants. LONG LIVE THE HEROS OF 1990s!
I wonder what the theoretical limit of a car accelerating from 0 to 60 is. Because ages and ages back, it was believed that most aluminum chassis couldn’t handle the acceleration that it would take to go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds or less, but now we have regular street cars that don’t cost a billion dollars that can do it in about two seconds
Tires are the limiting factor. The Nevera Pulls power all the way till like 160. Weight typically hurts acceleration but it actually helps here to maximize the grip amount of grip on the tires. For conventional cars the limit is around 1.6. A fan car could go sub 1 theoretically or even faster but then you start hitting g limits where drivers would pass out.
@Gavin Burress , I swear I ran a 4:59.7 as the my official time, but the finish line picture says 5:00. I would show everybody the results and show them that 4:59.7
Rimic I need
Only true family will understand
And Professor Oak
That’s insane that it goes 0-60 1.8 seconds.
1.74 🤓
You’d round down 1.7
You’d round down 1.5
You’d round down ded
Round down to 1

She called it “rematts” ….its rimac. Doug says she’s an automotive expert…i dont think so doug
Calm down buddy, it’s not like the car will get offended

@Roger Toledoit’s funny cuz she pronounces it correctly lol
@ProLeopard then why wouldnt everyone call it that? Oh right, because it says RIMAC
Rollout is 20% of the 0-60 time.
You guys met at band camp didn’t you

McMurtry does it in 1.4 because of extra downforce
@riba2233 Yeah I’m curious to see what the maximum acceleration when built for just launches would actually be.
This is so funny as it relates to runners. “Yeah, I run a sub 5 mile.” So is that a 4:59 or like a 4:20? 😂😂😂
It’s a 4:59:99

physics – we are at the point of tire limiting acceleration.
It’s rimac
Rimats
Yes rimac not rimak
At this point Rimac should build just a stripped chassis of Nevera and see if it get in 0s
The rimats nevera
